Inspiration: It's hard being ones authentic self. There's an image of ourselves we portray and a reality of ourselves that keep trying to show up and take centre stage. The centre face is the an armoured face that's made of wit, humour, social skills, big ego low self esteem. The brave face we put out to the world. The obscured face sits in the corner vulnerable, fragile, fearful, fallible, insecure and riddled with social anxiety. Everyday that face makes brave steps to show it's face, ever so slightly!
I took a literal meaning to hanging by a thread when creating the faces. One long thread makes up the entire white base of the t-shirt
